Typical of most astronomical telescopes, images through the ETX-60AT and ETX-70AT appear right-side-up but reversed left-for-right. For astronomical viewing this orientation is of no consequence. However, for terrestrial observing, where a fully correctly oriented image is desirable, the 45° Erecting Prism threads on to the telescopes rear cell and accepts an eyepiece of any focal length.
